Jenni focuses on diet and fitness/health and wellness coaching, career coaching, relationship coaching, transitional and personal development coaching. Specifically, she works with stay-at-home parents who are about to become empty-nesters.

Jenni was a stay-at-home mom for almost 20 years, and as her youngest approached his senior year of high school, she realized she had no idea who she was anymore. She didn’t know what she wanted to do, and felt completely lost. Jenni tried a few different jobs to find her path, but nothing felt right. She started working out in order to “burn off the crazy”, as she puts it…and remembered how much she loved lifting and doing yoga. Jenni spoke to a friend/mentor, and decided that her passion for yoga, and helping other women, would be the perfect career for her. And this is how she became a yoga teacher, and life coach!

What’s the difference between a life coach and a therapist?

There are some slight overlaps between the two, however there are some distinct differences. A therapist can treat mental health conditions; a life coach can’t. Therapists have a degree and are licensed; life coaches do not need any formal qualifications or training. Jenni does have an NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) certification. A life coach should never be substituted for mental health care.
